Honorary President Brovedani Group spa

BENITO ZOLLIA is honoray President of Brovedani Group Spa. He was born in Gorizia in 1936 and in 1956 he obtained a Diploma of Proficency in Mechanichs at the Professional Institute for mechanics of Gorizia.

From 1950 to 1961 he practiced sport at 1st level: athletics, basketball in the top division and in the National Italian Team.

From 1960 to 1962 he worked at MACTES Milan as Designer of mechano-textile systems and in the same company until 1965 as a sales representative.

From 1965 to 1968 he was Sales Director at Off. E. Brugola in Lissone (MI).

From 1968 to 1972 founded a trading company for the distribution of technical articles to important customers and industrial groups (e.g. Zanussi, Zoppas, Savio, Seleco etc.). At the same time, he contributes to the creation of a working group for the distribution of financial products of Fideuram.

In 1972 he acquired the shares owned by the individual fine mechanical company of Silvio Brovedani in Pordenone and therefore founded Brovedani Spa where he became President.

In 2004 Brovedani Group Spa was established, and he became President.

In 2018 he became Honorary President of Brovedani Group Spa.

At the same time, new members of the Board of Directors of Brovedani Group Spa are appointed: Archt. Massimiliano Zollia, Adviser, Vice President with responsibility for Innovation Venturing  and Mr. Alberto Ricci, Adviser.

From 1985 to 1992 he was President of the “Unione Ginnastica Goriziana” (union gymnastics of Gorizia, foundation year 1868).

From 1985 to 1991 he was Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CERIT – Regional Centre for Technological Innovation.

From 1995 to 1998 he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the real estate “Immobiliare Golf Club Castel d’Aviano” (PN).

From 1995 to 2005 he was Member of the Committee of Confindustria of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

From 2003 to 2010 he was Member of the Department of Innovation and Research Committee of the Confindustria of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

In 2006 he was awarded an Honorary Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Udine.

From 2007 to 2014, he was founding member and Chairman of Keymec – Centre for Innovation, research and training for the mechanics of the Industrial District of Ponte Rosso in San Vito al Tagliamento (PN).

From 2010 to 2014 he was member of the “Fondazione Istituto Tecnico Superiore nuove tecnologie per il made in Italy”, specializing in mechanical and aeronautical industry, based in Udine at the Institute Malignani.

Since 2011 Keymec was one of the founding members of LEF Lean Experience Factory, based at the same Keymec Center.

Since 2012 he was member of the Scientific Committee of Trieste Next 2012 European Exhibition of Innovation and Research.

SERGIO BAREL is President and Chief Executive Officer of Brovedani Group Spa. Born in Conegliano (TV) in 1962, he took a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padua as well as a Master in Business Administration from Profingest Bologna.

From 1988 to 1990 he worked at Riva Calzoni Spa of Bologna as a design engineer.

From 1990 to 1993 he was hired in Brovedani spa as Head of Experimental research and Technologies.

From 1993 to 1994 he worked at the European Optics Industries in Longarone as industrialization responsible.

Since 1994 he joined again Brovedani as Technical Director and then he became Operations Director, General Manager since 2007 and CEO since 2011.

Since 2018 he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Brovedani Group Spa.

From 2002 he worked as a lecturer in the MBA and management courses CUOA, Bologna Business School.

He was a member of the Advisory Committees in the courses of Diploma in Logistics Engineering at the University of Trieste and collaborates with the University of Udine for the study plan of the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

He is tutor for numerous graduation thesis with the University of Udine and Trieste.

He cooperated with the Tecnopolis Agency of Bari in the development of artificial vision technologies.

He was co-founder of the Consortium Keymec, Centre for Innovation, Research and Training of San Vito al Tagliamento.

Since 2012 he is part of the Board of Lean Experience Factory in San Vito al Tagliamento (PN).

He is Vice President of the Industrial Union of Pordenone with the responsibility of Efficiency, Safety and Environment.

From 2012 to 2019 he was member of Confindustria National Security Committee.

From 2013 he is Chairman of the District COMET, District of Components and Thermoelectromechanics of Pordenone.

From 2016 to 2019 he was member of the General Council of National Confindustria.

Since 2020 he is Vice President of Confindustria Alto Adriatico.

In January 2022 he was elected President of the Consortium for local development of Red Bridge – Tagliamento.

Renato Mascherin

Vice President Brovedani Group spa

RENATO MASCHERIN is Vice President of Brovedani Group Spa.

He was born in Belgium in 1954  and took a Diploma of Proficency in Mechanichs from the Mechanic Institute of Pordenone.

He was hired in Brovedani in 1972, among the initial 12 employees of the company just acquired by the new owner with the role of Technical Designer, to became soon Technical Manager.

From 1985 to 1995 he was Head of Production of all the shop floors including the local plants.

In 1995 he was Responsible for the startup and management of the local plants of Modugno (BA) and Perignano Lari (PI).

In 2004, contributed to the foundation of Brovedani Slovakia in Galanta where he became Chief Executive Officer.

He became General Manager of Brovedani spa in 2007 and since 2010 he covers the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Since 2018 he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Brovedani Spa and Vice President of Brovedani Group Spa.

Beside the Company, since 1984 is Chairman of the Private Kindergarten of Bannia di Fiume Veneto.

Since 2002 he is a member of the Joint Committee at “Consorzio Ponte Rosso”, the consortium for the development of the Industrial Area of Ponte Rosso in San Vito al Tagliamento (PN).

Since 2006 he is member of the Board of Directors of the Consorzio Ponte Rosso representing the companies located in the industrial area of Ponte Rosso.

Since 2004 he is member of the Steering Committee of the Metalworking Section of the Industrial Union of Pordenone.

Since 2008 he is member of the Board of the Industrial Union of Pordenone.

Since 2010 he is National Representative for the engineering industry for the Industrial Union of Pordenone.

Since 2011 he is Vice President of the Industrial Union of Pordenone in the Section Mechanical Engineering and Vice President of the Consorzio Ponte Rosso.

In July 2014 he was elected President of the Consortium for the development of the Industrial Area of the Red Bridge of San Vito al Tagliamento until December 2021.

Since April 2021 he has been President of the WELL FARE PORDENONE Foundation – Foundation for Microcredit and Social Innovation.

Since June 2021 he has been President of Ambiente e Servizi in San Vito al Tagliamento (PN).
