After growth in 2023 and a promising start to 2024, Brovedani Group is looking to the future with a new organization. Sergio Barel, current President and CEO, has seized this positive moment to step down from leading the Group. “A decision that concludes an exciting journey,” which began thirty-three years ago under the leadership of Eng. Benito Zollia, who led the company from 1972 to 2018. “I will bring the constructive experience gained at Brovedani to new professional activities, while maintaining existing institutional commitments.”

The transition was prepared with the management and Zollia Holding, the company that upholds the innovative spirit and values promoted by the Founder and is now chaired by Massimiliano Zollia: “We want to maintain in Brovedani that family business model that has distinguished us for over fifty years and continues to be a successful paradigm in many virtuous economies.”

On this basis, the change must be sustainable, fostering a generational transition in the spirit of continuity, both within the Group and in external relations with reference markets and stakeholders.

For the future of the company, Zollia Holding has proposed an organization led by two CEOs who have grown within the Group, with the aim of enhancing resources and skills already rooted in the Brovedani soil.

Francesco De Luna, with experience in the American group Arrow and the German group Bosch and twenty years at Brovedani, will be responsible for the value chain: Business Development and Operations.

Ivano Dreon, trained at Brovedani alongside and with the entrepreneurial philosophy of Eng. Zollia, will oversee Finance, Human Resources, and Compliance functions. Supporting the managers, Renato Mascherin will bring his veteran experience of Brovedani Group, becoming its President, with Massimiliano Zollia as Vice President.

Brovedani Group will be present again this year at the Hannover Messe from 22^nd to 26^th April 2024.

Brovedani will be present at “Mecspe Bologna 2023” from 6^th to 8^th March 2024, Hall 26 Stand B28, the most important Italian business-to-business exhibition of technologies and innovations for manufacturing, in the exhibition space promoted by COMET – mechanical cluster of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

MECSPE is the International Trade Fair of reference for the manufacturing industry. Since 22 editions it has been the biggest italian event dedicated to innovations for the industry.

We would like to congratulate Francesco Majo, who took care of the photography for our 2023 calendar, on receiving two major awards at the 16th Annual International Color Awards for his photographic works entitled ‘Frida’ and the ‘Future of Mechanics’ from the calendar ‘Mechanics to come”. The two works are currently on display at the Boomer Gallery – Tower Bridge Area, London – 150 Tooley Street SE1 2TU.

Brovedani was a guest speaker at the CY2023 SANDEN Core Supplier Conference at its headquarters in Isesaki shi Japan. An important moment to strengthen the decade-long partnership between the leading multinational manufacturer of automotive compressors and Brovedani Slovakia Sro, represented by Peter Hrcka and Sergio Barel.

With the ‘Search’ Project, Brovedani confirms its commitment to inclusiveness.

We are the first company in Italy to launch this initiative, which originated in the United States in 1996 and is aimed at helping people with disabilities enter the world of work.

On 18 September 2023, the course began, lasting a total of 36 weeks, which includes both classroom and practical training alongside our operators, allowing the young people to experience the company environment in full normality.

Our goal is to allow them to actively contribute to our reality and we are certain that they will bring considerable added value to the company thanks to their unique way of approaching work, their sensitivity, and their desire to integrate into a company context like ours.

We therefore hope to set an example in the fight against discrimination, marginalization and intolerance in order to build an environment that offers everyone the same opportunities.

All that remains for us now is to set off with the determination and enthusiasm that has always distinguished us and face all the surprises that this challenge will bring!

Brovedani has joined “RIDING THE TIGER. LIFE OF LINO ZANUSSI” sponsorship, a docufilm by Piergiorgio Grizzo from an idea by Stefano Candiani, published by La Voce Association. The documentary film describes the human and entrepreneurial story of the great industrialist, to whom our 2020 calendar was dedicated.

The premier is scheduled for Thursday 14 September 2023, at 8.45 pm, in the Sala Grande of CINEMAZERO (P.zza Maestri del Lavoro, 3 – Pordenone), as part of the Pordenonelegge festival.

On August 30, Cleveland (Ohio), at the Eaton headquarters Brovedani Slovakia received the award as “Preferred Supplier”, an important recognition that establishes a collaboration between Eaton and Brovedani Slovakia that dates back to 2004.

This award is thanks to the entire Brovedani Slovakia team who in recent years with dedication and enthusiasm have managed to earn the esteem and appreciation of such an important customer.

At the end of April, at Bratislava, the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, met a small group of entrepreneurs from the Italian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce (Camit) during a state visit to the Slovak Republic. Representing Brovedani Slovakia were Renato Mascherin, CEO, and Damiano Breda, General Manager Operation. In his speech, President Mattarella emphasized the importance of the bond between the two communities, defining the role of people working to keep this important relationship alive as essential.
