Brovedani was a guest speaker at the CY2023 SANDEN Core Supplier Conference at its headquarters in Isesaki shi Japan. An important moment to strengthen the decade-long partnership between the leading multinational manufacturer of automotive compressors and Brovedani Slovakia Sro, represented by Peter Hrcka and Sergio Barel.
With the ‘Search’ Project, Brovedani confirms its commitment to inclusiveness.
We are the first company in Italy to launch this initiative, which originated in the United States in 1996 and is aimed at helping people with disabilities enter the world of work.
On 18 September 2023, the course began, lasting a total of 36 weeks, which includes both classroom and practical training alongside our operators, allowing the young people to experience the company environment in full normality.
Our goal is to allow them to actively contribute to our reality and we are certain that they will bring considerable added value to the company thanks to their unique way of approaching work, their sensitivity, and their desire to integrate into a company context like ours.
We therefore hope to set an example in the fight against discrimination, marginalization and intolerance in order to build an environment that offers everyone the same opportunities.
All that remains for us now is to set off with the determination and enthusiasm that has always distinguished us and face all the surprises that this challenge will bring!

Brovedani has joined “RIDING THE TIGER. LIFE OF LINO ZANUSSI” sponsorship, a docufilm by Piergiorgio Grizzo from an idea by Stefano Candiani, published by La Voce Association. The documentary film describes the human and entrepreneurial story of the great industrialist, to whom our 2020 calendar was dedicated.
The premier is scheduled for Thursday 14 September 2023, at 8.45 pm, in the Sala Grande of CINEMAZERO (P.zza Maestri del Lavoro, 3 – Pordenone), as part of the Pordenonelegge festival.

On August 30, Cleveland (Ohio), at the Eaton headquarters Brovedani Slovakia received the award as “Preferred Supplier”, an important recognition that establishes a collaboration between Eaton and Brovedani Slovakia that dates back to 2004.
This award is thanks to the entire Brovedani Slovakia team who in recent years with dedication and enthusiasm have managed to earn the esteem and appreciation of such an important customer.

At the end of April, at Bratislava, the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, met a small group of entrepreneurs from the Italian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce (Camit) during a state visit to the Slovak Republic. Representing Brovedani Slovakia were Renato Mascherin, CEO, and Damiano Breda, General Manager Operation. In his speech, President Mattarella emphasized the importance of the bond between the two communities, defining the role of people working to keep this important relationship alive as essential.

Brovedani will be present at “Mecspe Bologna 2023” from 29th to 31st March 2023, Hall 26 Stand B40, the most important Italian business-to-business exhibition of technologies and innovations for manufacturing, in the exhibition space promoted by COMET – mechanical cluster of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
MECSPE is the International Trade Fair of reference for the manufacturing industry. Since 21 editions it has been the biggest event dedicated to innovations for the industry.

Brovedani S.p.A. has received the 5 stars of Rating Welfare Index PMI 2022 that show a relevant level of initiative, management skills, significant social impacts on the company’s internal and external community and an economic-organizational commitment carried out by the company. It is a pleasure and a source of motivation for us to receive this recognition for the fourth consecutive year. The award was collected by Renato Mascherin, president of the Brovedani S.p.A, on December 6th, 2022 in Rome at the Palazzo della Cancelleria. The event was also attended by the Minister of Labour and Social Politics, Marina Elvira Calderone, who underlined the importance of the welfare as it becomes an opportunity for the companies and their workers and vice versa.

Brovedani is part of the automotive chain which is also living a momentous transformation linked to the announced farewell of the endothermic engine. “To that we add the problems of a reconfiguration of the supply chains following the deglobalization started with the pandemic – explains Sergio Barel, president and CEO of Brovedani Group –. For us who work in the field of the precision/fine mechanics, there is the matter of repositioning in other sectors and new businesses, a thing that we are already doing looking at other areas of the industrial system such as air-conditioning/climatization”. The more general context requires “a rebirth of the supply chains we had delegated to others, and that is a phenomenon to look at carefully, especially us who are well-positioned in Italy, East Europe and North America”. With a great attention “to the aspects related to sustainability, which are always been one of our drivers (of) growth”.
